I've had sketchbooks and journals for as long as I can remember, but I began keeping this particular style of visual journal around age 16 when I found myself drawing on every surface that presented itself to me. I like to take my current volume everywhere, so I always have a landing ground for my thoughts and imaginings. They are a free-formed space for drawing, writing, research and for want of a better word, scrapbooking. Each volume preserves and immortalizes the essence of my inspiration, and I love to look back and see how my artistic style and vision has evolved over the years. I am currently on Vol X.
